Ok I have a SeaRay 220Sd Sun Deck . Pulled to ramp this past W/E pushed off the boat from my trailer with my wife in it just like we always do . I have to push her completely off trailer because water is not deep enough to let engine down & crank sitting on trailer . Boat would not crank , it did fire couple times went dead immediately while the wind pushed her away from me . I swam to her & boat would not crank . Kill switch was in up position & we just had topped the 50 Gallon tank off with non ethanol gas & put maintenance amount of Stabil in plus had run & cranked it 4 or 5 hrs trouble free after that . What could be the problem ? Water in Gas ? Etc ? Any ideas

"Not crank" implies dead....nothing.....engine not turning over. You say "engine fired a couple times".....so it is turning over (cranking)?

Ok...so the other 4 out of 5 tries you turn the key and it doesn't do anything? Motor doesn't turn over at all? Just dead silence?

By "Crank" do you mean fire? Cranking typically means the motor is turning over, ie: cranking over. Is it cranking over, and firing occasionally but suddenly dying?

Check the basics first:
Fuel flow good?
Got Spark?

Yes turning over every time , Firing some but when it does crank it doesn't stay cranked . I hope it's not water in gas , that's about $200 worth . Fuel pump maybe idk . It's kicking on when key is turned

Ok, so a description of the problem is:

Boat ran fine before fueling up.
Starter runs and engine turns over but will not run after filling up and adding Sta-Bil fuel treatment.
Engine "tries" to run, but will not sustain. Engine runs for a few seconds then shuts down.
BUT, the starter Always cranks the engine.

Always start at Layer 1.
Check your fuel Filters.
Check for spark (which you have or it wouldn't attempt to run, but maybe it goes away)
Try "burping" the fuel tank, take the cap off and see if air comes out.
Stick your head in the engine room. Do you smell anything funny? Gas? Something Hot?

Was the fuel tank "Empty" when you filled up? Like really empty?
Has anything else changed? Did you also take water in your on-board water tank?
Did you pump the gas or did the dock dude do it?
