2006 340 - All of the sudden port engine won’t start. No “beep” when switched on, confirmed neutral position. Starboard works fine. Worked fine last weekend. Neutral Switch, relay? Helpful suggestions much appreciated.

2006 340 - All of the sudden port engine won’t start. No “beep” when switched on, confirmed neutral position. Starboard works fine. Worked fine last weekend. Neutral Switch, relay? Helpful suggestions much appreciated.

I had the same issue, turned out to be ECM board (simplistically - piece of electronics that controls the work of the fuel pump). The way mechanic discovered it was by fist determining that there was zero voltage across the connection to the pump. But it could be other issues - wiring, relay etc.
