When I first bought the boat two years ago it had sat in outside storage for about 1.5 years prior. The gelcoat was in good shape, but looked like crap. I did the best I could given the short amount of time I had to prep the boat and had it looking servicable.
Last year I was excited to get out boating, and pretty much took the shrinkwrap off and threw it in the water.
This year the gelcoat's back to looking like it did when I first bought it. I decided this time I'd do it right. This is after I hit it with 3M Gelcoat restorer twice, but right before I dropped my buffer in a bucket of water while it was running :smt021.
I'd like to get the pinstriping redone, but I'm not sure if I'll have time... I'm trying to get in the water this saturday and besides hitting the other 3/4s of the boat with the 3M stuff then doing a wax job, I still have a million other projects left as well.
