starboard running light

2001 Sea Ray 290SS w/swim platform;
Engines
454 Mercruiser w/Bravo III drive
I can't get the starboard running light to work on my 2007 290SS. Any ideas? I have tried a new bulb and that does not work!
 
Have you tried a multimeter to see if you are getting power to the light - when it is on?
