Starboard RPM fluctuation

Running 05 390 w/ 8.1’s Noticed this weekend at 3500 RPM the starboard engine at random drop a few hundred RPM then come right back up to 3500 PRM. This is not negligible on the gauge but, the Smartcraft picks it up. I will try a new fuel filter this week. My strainers are clear. Any thoughts? Mike

Are you smelling any raw gasoline fumes at idle? If so, I suspect plugs - how many hours do you have?

I'm just The other side of 500. That is good sugestion. I'll turn that over to our trusted marine mechanic.
