I was just on the Overton's site, stainless steel beverage holders for 14.99. Has anyone else seen these, would they work, the 3 1/2 inch size? I can't get them from my dealer.

Thanks,

Yeah, they will work, providing the holes are 3 1/2's. We switched our plastic ones out as well. I'm not sure about your setup, but yours may be connected to an overboard drain....you can get them with or without the drain holes.

I used Stainless Steel cup holders from Boater's World when I replaced the eight plastic ones on my 240SD. I had to enlarge several of the holes because they were a tad too small. Plus the black foam pieces in the bottom of the cup holders shriveled up the very first time they were exposed to the sun.

My advice would be to buy the Sea Ray stainless cup holders from your dealer. In my case, I found out too late I could have bought them from my dealer for the same price. The Sea Ray ones will fit for sure and they have a heavy rubber piece in the bottom of the cup holder to boot.

I bought the stainless cup holders from the local dealer. They were not a stocked item, so they had to be ordered. It took less than a week to get, and they were $13.99 each. Well worth the money to get original equipment. They had adhesive gaskets and drains. Makes a huge difference.

I ordered 5 for my 340 just last week.

Unfortunately no local dealer in Tallahassee.

Most dealers will take phone / web orders. Since they need to be shipped in anyway, you could place the order and have them shipped directly to you. Just a thought.

I was told by a dealer that they could not do that. They can order them for you, but you pick them up. It may have been some dealer territory thing.

Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback, I am going to my dealer and see if I can get the "real" beverage holders. Hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend!

I know I am being lazy but wont be by the boat till later in the week. I have a 270 AJ (2007) and need to replace a stainless cup holder in transom. My questions are:
1. How do they come out?
2. What diameter is the hole that is there for a replacement?
3. My existing steel holder cracked? I thought it was steel? Should Searay replace it for free as a "good will gesture?"
4. Where can I get a replacement and what should I expect to spend?

Thanks everyone!!! I know I sound serious but when my beer is involved I go to the next level!! :)

The ole 4 year old thread resurrection huh?

I have seen some nice Spun Alum ones with powder coated colors and LED lights. Thought they looked cool...

I remember a thread in which someone here replaced the old teak cup holders with SS mounted to a teak platform. Very nice. I thought I had saved the thread but I didn't. Anyone know?
