Anyone replace their standard plastic cupholders with the stainless cupholders that come on higher models? My 185 Sport came with the plastic ones and the SS ones would look great. Do they fit? What is the cost? Thanks

I went through this 2 years ago and changed all of mine...makes a big difference in the look... I ended up going with the Searay stainless cupholders at about $9.00ea from your local dealer. Then you know they fit they are better quality then what I saw on the internet and marine stores. If you have the drain in them the tube from the plastic one will slide right onto the new ones.... The Searay Stainless didn't require silicone they had a foam tape around the flange.. which is a lot easier to deal with

The MM ones are a tad smaller than the plastic. If you silicone them in - it won't matter. I did that on my 260. I thought it looked a lot better.

My Formula has them, it does make a big different, As Arizona 240DA said they make drained cup holders. Make sure that you use the correct set-up.
Some of my cupholder have a drain tube that empty into the bilge.

Replaced all mine with Formula SS off of ebay. Love them... beats the plastic ones by a mile.. Nice eye candy too. Mine also have the drain outlet and I hooked up some aquarium tubing to them...

Did you manage to replace your cupholders? and if so could you let me know where you got them.

cheers

I replaced all my cup holders and all my gauges at the same time also with SS bezels. Found them all on ebay. 5 bucks each for the SS cup holders with the drain hole. I also used silicone to seal around them to keep water out. They fit perfect and now water tight too

I replaced the ones on my 240SD with units I purchased at Boaters World. That was a mistake for two reasons. A couple of the holes had to be enlarged with a file for the new ones to fit and the rubber insert on the bottom of the Cup Holder was pure junk. Do yourself a favor and buy the ones your dealer carries.

I thought about changing mine out. But then I figured I'd rather spend the $100 on beverages themselves.

What I want are more holders - especially in the aft starboard area - where my boat is especially lacking (or so people tell me - I never sit back there).

Pics would be great please!
Doug 'GoAweigh2452' ordered a couple for me when he ordered his.

Very nice. Thanks Todd! I will ask my Marine Max dealer about them this weekend. I have 7 cupholders on my 230BR ... 4 in white (aft and bow seating) and 3 in black (helm and port console seat). All stainless would be a nice touch.

These are nice and have a little rubber pad in the base. I just need to throw some silicone on them.

It's a nice touch and look much better in my opinion.
