Can anyone advise if there's a trick to turn off ST60 Tridata?

I just installed ST60 tridata and trying to follow the instructions from the manual but it doesn't work. Am I missing anything?

As I'm holding the depth button the top section changes the numbers but never gets to OFF while I'm holding the depth botton.

I had connected my ST60 wo both of my plotters in the junction box. So, all units always get power and currently the only way for me to shutdown ST60 is by turning the batteries off.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

Alex.

Scott,

Yes, it's connected only to SeaTalk and nothing else. So yes, there's always power feeding it but only from one source. As I understand this is very normal and that's where the DEPTH button comes in to play to allow have the unit ON/OFF. When I press and hold the DEPTH button it looks like the unit begins to shutdown but something prevents it from turning OFF completelly and then it just remains ON.

Scott,

I got the answer from the Raymarine. The feature to turn the unit OFF is only available in ST60+ models. Mine is just ST60. So, I'll need to have a separate switch to turn it on/off. I think I'll use the "water pump" switch on the strbrd side pad.

Yeah,

I'm wandering what's the best place to pick up that wire. I have another thread with question for the pad switches where John and Henry clarified some things for me. I think it's better to post the question there and see what they suggest.

Here's the thread: 320DA Srtbrd Electrical SWPAD Module Question
