Anyone visit here? Looks like lots to do close by but just an area that has escaped me......thinking about visiting them this weekend. :smt038

I live nearby and often take the boat there... right on the waterfront of downtown St. Pete with access to many restaurants, museums, the Pier, Baywalk, etc. As a municpal marina, it is mainly just docks, so don't expect resort ameneties such as a pool. However, there are many great restaurants within walking distance and there is also a trolley that can take you throughout downtown.

If you want the resort ameneties, visit the Vinoy which is very close by.

I keep my boat at my house; however, if you do a search; the topic has been discussed before.

Vinoy is great, however in a strong east wind, the basin can be rough. Hwoever it is a first class facility that provides access to all of the resort.
