We're having an informal CSR get together at St. Michael's Marina the weekend of October 4th and 5th. If you haven't been to St. Michael's it is a fantastic town with great marinas, great restaurants, fun shops, and lovely landscape. Great fun for just about anyone, the kids, and extremely dog friendly.

There is also a Small Craft Festival this weekend which antoher CSR member noted was a lot of fun to watch. Here is more information on this festival:

For more information on the Marina check out their website: http://www.stmichaelsmarina.com/

I spoke with Mike @ St. Michaels Marina and he said they'd like to have our group, and he said he'd see what he can do to dock us all in the same area of the marina. Let's start a list of people interested in going, with the length & beam of your boat!

1. Mike - SEA Ya! - 56'x16'

Mike

Should be a good time in St. Michael's. I've a prior commitment on the 5th and will likely be land locked that weekend.

Have fun and please get a picture of someone dropping a bottle of beer!

Put us down for a definite maybe. We will be trying to make it work but some "stuff" might get in the way. Do I need to make a reservation? Are there only 2 boats so far?

Mike,

Count us in unless weather creates a problem. 42' x 16'. We'd probably head up on Friday morning and be docked by noon-2:00PM. Do you want us to make reservations or are you lining up slips?

John

Everyone can go ahead and call Mike @ St. Michael's Marina to make reservations, their number is 800.678.8980. Let Mike know you are in the CSR (Club Sea Ray) group as he's going to try to get us all docked on the same pier.

So far it looks like we have:

1. Mike - SEA Ya! - 56'x16'
2. Jack - Heritage - 38'x?'
3. John - Gimme Time - 42'x16'

Sure wish we could go, but we have another committment that weekend. Seems like that's been the story most of this summer :smt089. We haven't been on the boat nearly enough this year. Hopefully next summer will be different!

WOW, that evokes memories... We use to sail from USNA to St Michaels almost every weekend leaving around 3PM on Friday, Anchor out, dink in and eat crab and drink beer till we'd bust and then sail back on Sunday. It would be great to go back...

Have fun and enjoy...

Why not - it's been the story of the summer of 08! Family stuff keeps getting in the way of boating.

Heritage can't go to St M this weekend. Whoever, goes, have a good/safe trip.

Looks like the weekends not going to work for me either since the trip is about 250 miles round trip for us the Admiral wants to go to VA Beach with 2 other boats from our marina so I'm sorry to say we aren't going to make it now either. Will call Mike tomorrow and cancel our slip reservations.

We're bailing as well and heading up to B-more in the boat this weekend, see everyone some other time!

Mike - we were about 5 slips down from you at Anchorage this weekend. We were with the 48 Ocean that was next to you and the two Vikings that were behind you. I didn't see you on the boat any or I would have said hi, I did see your two HUGE dogs though!

Aaron,

I was wondering if there were any CSR members around as there were a ton of people at the festival! It was a fantastic weekend and the 48 Ocean and people on the Viking seemed to be all having a blast.

The dogs are pretty large, basically the excuse I used to get the Sea Ray ;) If we end up at the same marina again we'll have to make a point to say hello :smt001
