Boat Info
'05 Meridian 368 MY, '11 Baltik BA95 Dinghy. Still a Sea Ray lover at heart!
Engines
8.1L HO Mercruiser (840 horse), 10kw Kohler Genset, Torqueedo 1003 for Dinghy
Looking to purchase these, but having a hard time visualizing what the ding will look like tipped up on a smaller (310) Sundancer.

Does anyone use this Davit mount? Seems like a fantastic solution!

These are a nicer version of the weaver system - usually used on RIBs. Many have gone to the slide on type of systems like hurley or nautley (st croix makes one too but its $$$$$) I personally like the weaver/st croix tip up system but the slide on systems allow you to keep the motor on and are potentially easier/quicker to deploy/retrieve.

The motor isn't an issue for me. I purposely bought the Torqueedo electric so I could tip sideways if needed...

Do you have the tip up?

I have the weaver as the "shoes" were already on the boat and I didn't want to make more holes - with the torqueedo either would be great the ideal size dinghy for your boat is probably 9.5". That said mine is 10.5" and even though my beam is 10.5" (at the widest point) it "hangs in the wind" a bit but still looks/works OK
