srv 180 steering cable

After 35 years the steering cable in my srv 180 finally seized up for good. The lettering on the cable is illegible. Can anyone advise me on the correct replacement cable. It is a Mercruiser series I 165 I/O. Thanks.

Do you have a rack and pinion system, or a rotary?
