I need to replace the pole light base for the anchor light (2006 SR 185Sport), or so the sheriff tells me ;) -- I cannot seem to find a location that will give replacement listings. Any idea of a part that will work?

"Location"? What do you mean by that?

In your manual, will be a part number and your local dealer can get it for you, or even get it from an aftermarket supplier since it's likely a Perko or Attwood part. Heck, if you're getting it from your dealer just tell them what boat you have and they'll take care of the rest.

Are you positive the socket is bad? How did you come to that conclusion? While not unheard of, it's much for common for the bulb to be burned out or for the female sockets in the pole to have been jammed in.

Thanks! Yes - I'm sure its the socket - used a pole that I confirmed to be working (using my cousin's boat) and then looked into the socket - only one pin is visible. "Location" meant exactly what you implied; I'll get a Perko; nearest SR dealer is an hour in the wrong direction (away from the lake).

Why not just fix the pin? If you can get to it, push it back up and secure with some epoxy. Did this on my buddy's boat and it still works 5 years on.
