I have an Raymarine RL80C. When I set the autopilot to GoTo a waypoint even in completely flat water it corrects about every 200 yards or so and I am leaving a snake trail behind us. But if I just set it to a degree setting it tracks completely straight. I have even lowered the sensitivity down to 1 and does not help…much appreciated for any help that can be passed along.

On my autopilot 1-3 is the min setting then 4-6 is med and 7-9 is the tightest. Try a higher response setting.

Check your glove box for anything magnetic. Ours was doing the same thing til I pulled out a magnet in the glove box. After that no problem whatsoever. I spent some time trying to figure out where it was going wrong. I bet you've got something close by that us magnetized.
