Squeaky Steering Wheel

The last few years my helm wheel squeaks when turning in either direction. Fluid level is fine and I sprayed lithium grease under wheel to try and get it into shaft housing. I have not removed the wheel yet to spray fully under there. Anyone with the problem that may have a remedy?

My 390 MY does this at certain tilt angles, oddly enough only in one direction.

Do you have a tilt helm?

Yes I do but leave in my favorite position. Maybe I should try in a different one? PS-I have no issues at all with the steering... Just the noise
