SPX 19OB with sport package

Nobody really answered which is better. The 19 spx I/O or Outboard version. One HAS to have a better ride than the other. No way can they both have the same feel and ride. One has to beat the other out in chop as well.
 
"Better" isn't as definitive as you might think. Both models use essentially the same hull and are within 100 pounds of each other weight wise, so the ride and feel are going to be very very similar. The OB doesn't require as much maintenance or winterization, and it's probably quieter than the IO. The IO certainly has a cleaner look.
 
The OB is so quiet and easy to maintain I wouldn't have it with an I/O but I am in salt water most of the time so that comes into play for me.
 
We went I/O so it would fit lengthwise in the garage. The full swim platform is nice for the kiddos.
