Broke out the Vette and drove it to work today...launch date cannot be far away now!! Early April planned for us.....
What is your planned launch date?

The sooner the better but since my insurance policy stipulates no leaving the dock until after 4-15 I guess I need to wait until at least then to splash.

Cedar Point won't let us use our docks until May 1, but several boats sneak in a week early. They say they will charge us transient dock fees for each day we're in prior to May 1, but don't know if that's true or not.

I'm ready to go NOW!!!!

SkipperBud is scheduled to bring the boat from Milwuakee to Racine for May 7.

i'll be out of storage april 14th. asap from there weather permitting! marina doesn't go into full operation until may 1st.

Our marina is "officially" open on May 1st, but they typically do open a week or so sooner if the weather cooperates for them. I asked for a launch date of April 24th, but my boat is buried so far into the storage building that I think I hear the launch crew laughing as we speak.

Put mine in the water last weekend but it was way too rough to do anything other than go the two miles from launch ramp to lift. Had consistent 25 to 35 knot west winds. Am going back down tomorrow to a great boating forecast- One foot seas, sunny and 75 degrees.

Our marina starts to launch as soon as the ice is clear of the harbour. Last year we were first in...April 7th (I think) as I had the broker coming up to look at our trade on the new (to us) Sea Ray. Ice conditions are way ahead of last year and I'm hoping to get similar timing! Some of it comes down to whether they have my winter work list completed in time, however things are looking good.

Spring fever in full swing! We had a couple inches of snow last night. Lucky it melted in a few hours. We can splash as weather permits after April 15th. Friend Cutting Edge will be in April 1st! After last years cool summer we sure could use some good weather.

The Heatwave went in on April 2nd and made the trip from St. Joe to Michigan City. Lake was not to bad but the winds were very high! She has been out fishing 3 times now. I will keep her in Mich. City till May 2nd and then home to Saugatuck.

I received word today that our marina is officially open. Seems like the weather has allowed them to get ahead of the curve as well.
