spring cleaning

I have a 34 sundancer vintage 1988 and the portholes located in the v birth at one point hade been leaking cured the leak, but the cloth material under the portholes refuses to come clean, and I have tried everthing, any ideas ?

We have had similar stain issues from hatch and stanchion leaks - some of the sraining was real bad. After trying almst everything, a boat neighbor with a similar age SR with the same issues suggested we try Thetford Mildew Stain Remover. That was the answer - spray the surface till wet and let it work - no scrubbing or hard work. It is available at WM and other marine supplies vendors.

I ordered hull liner material from sailrite to replace our hullliner (go figure lol). With it i got a catalog, in the back of the catalog came a recipe book for cleaning all sorts of stuff. For iron or rust the recipe is Carbona (??? no clue never heard of it) Stain Devil #9. For mildew 1cup bleach 2oz dish soap in 1 gal water. Also we use and swear by a product at the dollar store call Totaly Awesome.. Cheap and works great.
