Pulled the ole girl out of the water Sunday an brought her home. It never ceases to amaze me how absolutely trashed they can get over the winter. Having a Guy come to the house Saturday to check her out an decide whether she needs wet sanded or he can compound her back to beautiful. Hoping for the latter, the wet sanding thing scares me twice. Once on whether the gel can handle it and twice on the expense.
So this afternoon thought id get started sanding some of the 30 yr old weathering off the the numerous pieces of teak. Wow what a monster I've created there. Realized that while she looked shabby b4 at least it all matched, now I definitely have to keep going cause this one piece stands out like a sore thumb.
Jesus, these old boats have miles of wood. Lol
