So many of you have been wrapped and winterized for several months. We certainly haven't been as active over the winter, but we still kept her ready to go. I made it out at least once each month of Nov, Dec, Jan & Feb. The boat's getting picked up tomorrow from the shop where I had some fiberglass blems fixed up and the O/D service done.

We're headed out next weekend for our first overnighter. When are you peeling off the shrink and headed out.

When the low temps stay above freezing. :smt021

I already went out. Went out last Sunday and then again on Friday.

70 degrees here right now and I'm at work. I'll be out tomorrow and probably on Tuesday.

3 day trip this weekend. Unfortunately it will be in the rain it looks like....

Probably cut the shrink next weekend and start re-commissioning. Look to splash around the 15th of April.

Just as soon as I get the bellows replaced and the water is no longer hard. Ie. Ice still

We hope to be on the water in about 30 days. But I tell you, we just got back from south Florida and the Bahamas, and seeing all those nice boats out and about sure made me want to move down there where winterizing is not required!

We're heading out to Poulsbo, WA this weekend. We may have a Friday night overnighter in Everett next to the launch, but we'll run to Pouslbo on Saturday AM and get our Viking on.

Gimme Time made her first run last Friday for about 2 1/2 hours. Absolutely beautiful day on the water. Came back in just before dusk. Crap pots are out and the channels are a little skinning around here with them along the sides.

We'll be in for Easter weekend. I give a speech at our AGM on April 21 (which marks the traditional end to my uber-busy half of the year), and then disappear to the boat for the first weekend. Perfect timing for me.

Hey Todd. Got my boat back from the extensive gel coat cleanup crew today. Just an outstanding job! Tomorrow will be gear lube change and replacement of dead battery.

I plan on taking her to the Oyster Bar Marina, Perdido Key, FL this Friday: http://oysterbar31.com/

I play guitar there every Fri and this week am going to tie off, play my 4 hr set, then eat some dinner onboard and crash for the night.

Clean living!

The springers (Spring Chinook salmon) are hot in the Columbia! Short season this year, ends April 1. Hope to officially splash around the end of April. Can't wait. Hope she still floats.....

We got all our ice yet. It's snowing right now(6" so far) and thundering like crazy. It'll be a while before I'll have it in the water.:smt089

After a half inch of rain that turned to freezing rain it is now snowing. We are supposed to get 6 inches or so. Highs the rest of the week are supposed to be in the low 30's. The lake still has over a foot of ice. This winter is never going to end.

Ya, we already have at least 5-6 inches here in Coon Rapids. What happened to the coating to 2" they said yesterday? Arghhh. Spring 11 just flew away.

Very cool. Enjoy. That sounds like a pretty good gig to me.

Give it a week and hopefully spring will be turning the heat up. It just got here.
