Any sport boat owners have inverters installed? Would like to add one to blow up the BIG inflatables we bring out, just not sure of the best location. What has worked for you?

Be careful of the cheapie, cigarette-lighter-plug-in style. They won't pump up the tube tight enough. The number one reason for early tube failure is not pumping them up ENOUGH. What happens is that when they aren't pumped up enough, the stress/load of the pull isn't transferred equally throughout the cover and the cover ends up ripping. An average weight guy should be able to step on the tube and only have it deflect a couple of inches - max.

I have one of these, myself, and we sell sell these 10x more than the $20 cigarette-lighter-style.

We do use the 12v outlet for our little inner tube and lounge style inflatables but I'm talking for the 4 or 5 person big boy tubes! That airhead looks nice, may have to give that a try.

We had a leak in ours last year. After figuring out how to take the tube out. I inflated it and couldn't find a leak. Had to put it in my pool to find it. I think we got the hole from people sitting in it on shore. Got it patched up good with goop and a patch.
