Well after finding a couple of hoses connected to the seacock needed to be replaced, and replacing them, changing the oils in everything since this is new-to-me boat, all I have left is to paint the bottom and go. On the schedule for the 21st.

Looking good! You doing the bottom paint? Are those original exhaust ports there at the waterline?

Yes they are the original exhaust ports, however they were cracked pretty bad. I ground them out and repaired them. I have 2 coats of gelkote, but I am waiting until fall to finsh them up and to see how they hold up.

The boat paint is this weekend after I finish the last bit of scraping of the loose material.

I am hoping to make it in on the 24th. This is my first bigger boat also and I have been doing alot of work on it. I still have the bottom to paint and I had about 40 hours in buffing it out to bring it back to a nice shinny white boat. For some reason that 340da seems a lot bigger than it looks so my arms and back said.:smt043

I just keep thinking did I buy too much boat? This year I spent enormous amount of time, but it was to learn the boat. Lots of maintenance that i would have done at the end of the season, but I did not own the boat last year.
