Well folks, finally the weather cooperated enough to get all the work done and she's ready for the water. 1) Drive stripped, yada yada yada and interluxed. I'm done with the phantom black every year. 2) Solenoid replaced in an abundance of caution 3) New juice all around 4) New spray head in the head due to someone "borrowing" parts from the other one over the winter

Now on to the name... I (we) have fought like cats and dogs over a name. I wanted to finally use my beloved name bestowed upon my old oil platform (the 30ft pontoon) and carry on the name of "Offshore Drilling" alas, she did not like. Then I tried, based upon the silver and gold decals and my Montana heritage, to go with Oro y Plata which is the state motto and spanish for gold and silver... again nixed.

Finally while arguing as she's a crazy liberal and I'm a kook with no party but thinks every citizen should carry a gun and shoot at IRS agents we centered on "Bipartysan" as an homage to our now home port of DC. Thoughts?

I like it.

We went around and around on our name too but our catch was the Dealer MM was putting it on for us so we had to come up with the name font color before delivery.

We finally decided on Morpheus and although it's cool to think of the character of The Matrix which was a great movie we picked it because Morpheus is the god of dreams and it was our dream to have a boat :)

We've only have our 2006 SD240 since Nov 2006 and we are already looking at upgrading to something larger for long trips and sleep overs :)

So I guess Morphues II is in the works

Sounds good to me. or how about Lone Party

Congrats on splashing! It's great to have another 240 here.
I gues I'm lucky? Being married to an undisputed Princess made naming the boat easy....Princess M (for Muriel)

RT, Seriously congrats.
The politacal angle for may be a bit too much for you to relax aboard, so I propose Liberal Kook or
Liberally Kooky

How about "Gold Digger" You did dig for that black gold didn't you?

I have my starter out right now, due to a broken bolt. I was thinking about whether I should replace the solenoid or not? Mine is probably original 96 issue. Do you have any particular reason you are replacing yours?
