May 5th same as last year.10:00 am ,they will at that time adjust the new packing on both engines and add the 25 gallons of feul to each tank to top her off.I took the 6th off to just in case its really nice out or i dont want to drive home that night or untill monday morning actually. Its about 30 minutes to our slip from storage.

Should be in by Friday, just hope the rain doesn't wash out the whole weekend.

Can't wait to get on the boat and spend time cleaning!!!!!!!

Therapy.

I'm in now but looks like pulling back out...small leak somewhere :smt089:smt089:smt089

April 16th if all goes to plan. The ferrys are running at the lake so it has to be ice free by now, although i haven't been up to see for myself.

I see alot of people have or will be putting in soon but none in the actual Great Lakes. Am i jumping the gun putting in mid April?

watch for floating logs and deadheads !Also windy days you may want to give the lines an extra ft of slack as the water can go low faster than you,d think

Was planning on April 15 but just talked to the Harbormaster who said due to Lake Michigan being 1 foot lower opening will be delayed until April 22 due to more harbor dredging required. Last season on the River I splashed on March 26.

:smt021Mid:smt021May:smt021!

Between the :smt101of buying a new (to me) boat out of state, selling the old one, and the $30K :smt101 I've spent in the last 2 months(outta pocket cash!!!):smt101:smt089:smt101 I was doing too much :smt101 and tentatively scheduled the shipment for May 15th:smt021 thinking (in Mid Feb) that would be a great time. Went to the marina yesterday; river is flowing, ice pack is heaved, but headed out, DAMMIT!!!!!:smt021 :smt021. Also dropped off the final payment (check) to the shipper while I was up there and let him know I was ready whenever and VERY flexible and was ready whenever he was! He says he "appreciates" my flexability.....hope that means next week! :smt021 :smt021 :smt021

Oh, did I mention :smt021?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First year without something sitting on a trailer that goes in when I notice the ce is gone so I suppose :smt021 this :smt021 is :smt021 a :smt021 learning :smt021 curve:smt021 for me and I hope I can :smt021 beat it into my head :smt021 :smt021 enough!
