Our friends just bought a new 330, splashed it Saturday! Lot of neat features, love the walk-thru-windshield. Straight couch provides more comfortable seating/sleeping area. Master berth is so cool with the remote headrest. Only drawback is when the bed is in sleeping position you lose the port side step up. Not sure I like the new seat instead of the lounger in the helm.

Only one control for throttles and shifters. Everything is digital, has a neat feature that allows you to transfer and sync the starboard control so all you use is the port engine control. His boat has the 8.1's, I think, "8. something" with V drives. Damn thing really gets up and goes. On plane in the blink of an eye. Smooth and quiet. Has a "docking" feature on the throttle controls which is supposed to keep you from slamming the throttles forward while docking. Engine compartment is massive, lots of room and you can actually step down into the engine area, however, to change impellars or do any maintenance it is just as tight as the 320. Not sure I like the transom seat, its neat, but you lose all that storage room. Requires two shore power cords. Side by side fuel tank fillers located both on starboard and port sides, so you can fuel from either side of the boat. Built in grill is pretty sweet. Not sure I like the new integrated swim platform, but I do like the new transom door. And then theres that little step down from the boat to the paltform. Probably only 2" high, kind of a pain in the ass. We all kept slipping on it! And then the side step area. We step onto our boats from the side rather than the back, there is a little step pad, could lead to lots of missed steps!!!

Nope I'm not runnning out and buying one, just getting used to our 320!!!!

It's kind of a cross between the 320 and 340.

We looked at the 330 before buying the 340. Many nice features in the 330! However, when we walked into a 330 versus 340 cabin (side by side) there seems to be a big difference in how "open" one is to the other. I guess it's all relative though- as in when I walk into a 400 or 480 our boat seems tiny.

Not really sure about the grill thing though as it seems any smoke from the grill would fill the helm area.

I can tell you this...the DTS feature is awesome, no matter what boat it's in. The 8.1's are great engines, but thirsty.

The marina where they splashed the 330 is about 3-4 miles from our marina. He ran pretty hard going down there, maybe 3400 rpm; coming back in the 330, he replicated the r's and mph and stated it was burning 10 gallons more an hour!!!!!! Thirsty for sure, maybe thats why SR put an extra 25 gallons in the tank!
