Ok, so i just finished replacing the trim limit sender and realized the i didn’t know if the speedometer worked or not. I took about 90 PSI and blew it thru the end of the cable at the back of the boat and the speedometer didn’t move.
I just replaced all of the gauges so i know that is new and the hose was connected to the back of the gauge.
My questions are:
Is that a good way to test the speedometer? (Blowing air from the back)
Does that mean the tube has a hole or kink in it and i have to take the entire bell housing off AGAIN.. :smt021
