Specifics on a factory service manual

Hi all, I have a question on the Mercury Marine factory service manual. I have a 2009 4.3 tks 185 sport I need the manual for. I want the FSM as opposed to Clymer. My past experience sifting through details in the Clymer because they compile too many models together is not what I am interested in and Clymer was missing certain details as well.

I will pay the $90 that Mercury / Brunswick wants if it is specific more details on my model yr engine. They ask for the serial number off the engine.

Question: I found used Mercury FSM's on eBay that say they cover 1998 -2015 & I believe the book number is #25. Is that what Mercury is going to send me if I purchase the manual from them? Or will they send me something more specific to my model year? If what mercury sends me has better specifics I don't mind spending the extra money.

Thanks for the info. So far looks like the people selling on eebaay, are fudging a bit, because #25 doesn't look like its the correct model year. I wil have to try a few downloads at home. Jeff

Yep, it looks like it is. I can't get it on my note3, but will try it at home. I may have been mistaken. If I read correctly manual #25 covers my engine as expected and manual #41 (which also looks like its available for free ) is a supplement which covers the tks carburetor.
