Speaker switching tips?

I want to be able to switch off my inside speakers or run them at a reduced volume when the outside speakers are blasting.
2000 340 Sundancer. 2 stock power amps with one off the port power running the salon aft and cockpit forward speakers. The other powers up on the starboard power and runs the speakers in the arch and inside over the v-berth.
How can I split these up so I don't go deaf below?

Yup that's what we do as well. Fader is set to +7 to the rear. Cabin is nice and level while cockpit is pumping pretty well.

I'm surprised they'd bother with a disc player without Blu Ray. I put a DVD player at my curb this winter...

On the zone issue, I've decided to use the Fusion's 4th zone to lower the level of the cockpit speakers that are at ear-level. I'm really looking fwd to that.
