Hey Y'all Just got my Sundancer delivered this weekend, and first things first. There was no stereo in it, but existing wires and hole in the cabin. I put my Sony receiver in and used the anemic existing wires to just wire the cabin speakers and speakers in the cockpit face stern. Eventually I will add a 4 channel amp for cockpit/helm speakers, and run the cabin speakers off the head. Has anybody discovered any quality speakers that will mount in the arch cut-outs that are on the boat. This is assuming that the blank plates already mounted on the arch are stock. In my other boats I've become fond of the polk dB651's but might have to add spacers to get the depth I need. If I can find some spacers (recommendations appreciated) I will stick with them, or looking at some new infinities that seem popular on the net right now. Thanks for sharing your experience!John

+1 on the Polks. Just redid my boat with them. Great clarity, great price, great fit! Way better than my stock Clarion speakers. I went with an MB Quratz amp (and a Clarion amp) with 2 - 10" kenwood subs. This thing rocks!

John,
I went with JL Audio but the Polk's were my second choice. I have heard nothing but good things about them. As far as spacers go, there was a thread on here recently that someone used starboard and made the spacers. I don't know how handy you are but, the ones the guy posted on here looked good. I believe he had offered to make another set for the Kreole Kid on here too. Maybe you can find the thread and try to work out a deal? Good luck!

Todd
