SouthWest Florida Boat ramps with overnight parking?

Hello all,
Looking for some local advice on where to launch and (Safely) keep a tow vehicle/trailer overnight somewhere between englewood and Ft. Myers. I have some plans to cruise pine island sound/charlotte harbor and would like to know if anyone has had good experiences leaving their vehicles overnight. Also, planning a key west trip in may, so I would like to have a place to lauch in the Naples/ Marco area. Any input would be appreciated.

I can't really speak from my own experience trailering/parking there, but I know of a public boat ramp with a small (25 spaces) parking lot directly next to a major highway. Check out the El Jobean Boat Ramp on Rte 776 in Port Charlotte. Cost is $0.75/hr. The area is well lit & the parking lot is about 20' from the highway.
