Sony audio system upgrade - 2012 250 SLX

Hi Everyone,

I've searched numerous threads here but can't find an answer. I've also checked my owners manual and all the other documentation.

I'm hoping someone can tell me what size speakers and subwoofer are included in the Sony audio package that came OEM with my boat? I'm trying to find out without pulling the speakers themselves and hoping for a model or serial number to go research. If you have a model or serial number from your OEM Sony Audio system that would be helpful for sure.

Id wager the the woofer is a 10" and the speakers are either a 6.0 or 6.5 coaxial. Very common for the coax to have a 6.5" to 7" OD and require a 5" cutout.

Do you have a packet full of manuals from SR (as opposed to, say, binders full of women )?

Look for the Sony Manual and see if you can get model numbers.

Hey guys, thanks so much for the suggestions. I will report back as soon as I find out what size the speakers are so hopefully someone else won't have to go through this in the future.
