Sitting here frustrated so I thought I'd vent and catch up on CSR. I agreed to work a few hours today because we are very busy at work.

Let me start at the beginning This week we have had pretty bad weather and lots of snow and cold. I have a 44 truck that I drive normally. Tuesday I drove it to work no problems left for home and my service 4wd light comes on. I no longer have 4wd which is crucial for where I live. I ordered the part required and it was supposed to be delivered yesterday. I drove the truck thinking it was going to be ready to install so i could make it home. The package was delayed because of the weather. I had to be picked up last night because I couldn't make it to the house. So after not having my truck my honey told me to just take her car. I left the house at 7 am this morning headed to work in her fj cruiser not a worry. Coming around the corner on the highway I could see the city I work in.

BOOOM!

check there's a jack but no tools in her vehicle... great... oh I remember my grandmother got AAA for me for Christmas because I travel so much.

35 mins on hold just to talk to someone.
49 mins to verify I am who I am.
3+ hours waiting for a tow truck

tow truck arrives and says I can't change the tire you have two flats.

did I mention it's -5 this morning?
Truck shows up and takes me to tire shop.

1.5 hours waiting at the tire shop to get me on my way and they are mad that they close at noon and have to work me in or I am stuck in this city... i am still waiting and have not made it to work... my Saturday sucks how's everyone else doing?

Wow - I think most of us will be doing better than you on this Saturday right now Jason. Deeeeep breaths........... Hopefully you can soon get to the point where you determine it can only get better from here (fingers crossed on the 4wd).

Jason,

If I was in town I'd come and pick you up. But I'm up in Minneapolis - actually a few degrees warmer up here than back in Wooster! Go across the street, downstairs to CW's and have a drink or two!

Hope you get taken care of soon. If you need anything text the Admiral - she's home and can help you out.

Jason, I'm sending you a bottle of bourbon. With your weather it should be there by Spring.

be safe and breath. Good Luck

Well I just got to work. The people at the tire place said they've been busy with flat tires just because of the cold. Leaving a 50 degree garage into -5 the aluminum tends to contract a bit letting the tires go flat. Finally just made it to work and thanks everyone. What a PITA!

Can't say I've ever heard of that happening because of the cool temperatures you have. Even when it gets really cold and the tires freeze "square" I've never had any air leaks because of the cold. The pressure in the tires will drop when it gets cold but as long as they are properly inflated there is no problem. At -5 F that is no where near cold weather.

I've seen the extreme cold flatten tires before, in Denver.
It's 38° here and I was dinking around outside and my feet were getting cold so I came back inside. lol
I guess I shouldn't complain.
