Our air conditioning has never worked since we purchased the boat. The compressor cycled but only blew ambient temp air. We lived with it last year. This year we figured we'd get it fixed. Called the only company around that does marine HVAC. (which usually means big bucks) tech showed up and within a few mins said "there's your problem!" and handed me the shraeder valve caps. They leaked. 6 oz of R22 and 2 new caps later it was blowing ice cold air. $150.00!!
