I decided to do a mild appearance mod to the 185. To me, the graphics were a bit cluttered or busy. I decided to remove some of the graphics and I'm very happy with the end result. Please disregard the dark pictures, but they were taken while the boat was inside of the garag

Looks good. I agree, it does look less "busy". Were they already separate pieces or did you have to cut them apart?

They were all seperate pieces, so no cutting required. Just peeled them away with my fingernail.

I know the extreme graphics don't appeal to everyone, but for this type of boat I think it works well.

I think it looks very good with the extra graphics removed!! On a different note, what type of tower do you have on your boat and does the factory bimini top work with it?

Hemi: The tower is the factory sea ray tower (made by Xtreme towers I believe) and it has a specific bimini top that works with it. Although, the person I bought the boat from no longer had the top. They had the support rod and the boot, but not the actual top itself. I got a quote the other day from the folks who make the top and they want $400+ for JUST THE FABRIC! I'm actually contemplating making one myself using the existing hardware.

Slippery: You are absolutely correct. It is sutble enough that it gives it that "there is something different about that one".

Thanks for the compliments.

HA! I was about to reply with a greatful "thanks" before I even viewed it.

I won't even have to get any PVC or one of those "90 degree thingies" to mount it to the boat. Although, I'm sure I can find some "blue roof" tarps from hurricane Ike still wadded up in a nearby field. I could use that for my canvas and it would even match... somewhat.
