fwebster opined some weeks ago that there were some deals to be had on 03-04 420 Dancers with mechanical C series Cummins. Spot on:

For folks considering going to bigger boats and evaluating the diesel v. gas question, I think used diesel boats like this really bear looking at. The C series have a 600 hour warranty on major components, the Sea Ray hull warranty (if any residual coverage exists) will transfer, and you can save a ton of money.

I am a bit prejudiced, since I did this 2 1/2 years ago and we really like our 420

Randy,
I can't help you move the 290DA, but before you make the leap into a 420DA I will spend the day with you aboard Truly Blessed II and show you everything Sea Ray got right, and the few things IMO they got wrong, crawl all around the engine room, and run the boat a bit.

He says that he'll take you on an engine room tour, then when you go look for him, he's gone. Was he really there at all?

Best regards,
Frank
