Somebody help Nehalennia II!!!

Calling all you Northwest boaters - we have a brewing crisis here....

Todd is now without means to get on the water. :smt089 Someone MUST intervene before the poor man goes into convulsions, or worse! You all DO want him around to continue his efforts in organizing next summer's dream trip, right?

Consider it an act of kindness to a fellow CSR mate. It's really the least you can do.

We're counting on you now.........we all lose if there are no more of those fabulous pictures!

Bill

Maybe he can get capnjohns 240 DA...... cheap.

Sorry. :smt018

ok ok ok......Billy, we'll be Ok, I truly appreciate the comoradarie and support. It's a tough decision for sure and the last time we waited to get a boat, we found Nehalennia II and ended up with a priceless gem. Luckily I have relatives still with boats I can go out and get wet with and limit the convulsions to night sweats only rather than the foaming of the mouth, night sweats and wiping down other people's boats when I see spots on them.

Anyway what I will ask of you guys is that If I find a boat in your area, before I fly or drive out there, bother you to take a peek for us? I doubt we'll have to travel too far but it seems like there are tons of boats in the WI, MI, MN area; which obviously land locked freshwater boats.

Yeah it was a bit squirrely, but definitely manageable with getting used to it.

I just saw the CaptJohn 240DA unstable thread earlier today. WOW, got an inbox full :smt024

Todd-
Glad to hear your sale went well and you are now in the position to buy. I saw you might consider going to the midwest for a boat and thought I might remind you that these are typically raw water cooled and would need to be converted to Fresh water or closed system cooling. Just an FYI and I'm sure the seller in Seattle will come through.
Good luck on your purchase.

Todd, it may be of little or no consolation, but I can feel your pain. I was boatless last year during September and October, which are my very favorite boating months other than April, May, June, July and August. This was the time “between boats†and here is some of what we did to appease the withdrawal.
Be a guest on a friend’s boat.
Go to boat shows.
Visit other marinas that are a possibility to stay at as a transient next season.
Take an advanced class in navigation or safety and first aid.

Cheers,
-Jim
