Our 390DA was delivered and we noticed some scratches in the countertops during inspection. We are not sure if the countertops are Dupont Corian or another brand. Has anyone repaired scratches in the countertops and with what?

If it is actual Corian you can get a scratch kit at a Lowe's or equivalent. Basically its a series of superfine sandpapers and finally a paste. Easy to do with a bit of elbow grease.

My kitchen coutertops are all Corian and they buff out nicely... I use a bit of 3M Finesse polishing compound and my Makita buffer. Small area like the boat galley could easily be done by hand... But I'd use a rubber backing block (About the size of a pack of cigs) to avoid valley's and such from over zealous rubbing...

Corian and other type products are color correct throughout the thickness so no worries about discoloration from one area to the other...

I have found that what polishes the boat polishes my corian countertop. I even put Maguire's wax on it.
