Soldboats pricing?

We are looking to trade in/sell our '98 310 DA - and trying to get some ideas on pricing.

Looking at a cruisers (don't ban me!)

If you're looking to sell it outright, check on Yachtworld.com for some prices in your area. Keep in mind that the overall economy in the Great Lakes regions may not be as strong as in other areas so pricing in your area may necessarily be low due to a scarcity of buyers.

If you're looking at trading it in I'd suggest expanding your search beyond the Great Lakes. There are a lot of boats for sale around you. Probably fewer buyers so that makes it a buyer's market. If you're searching on Yachtworld expand your search area to include the Gulf States and possibly even out west. Even with paying shipping costs on boat boats you may find you'll save money by buying from a distant area.

I live in WA and bought my boat from north of Detroit. Even after paying shipping on two boats I saved a ton over what it would have cost me on the west coast to buy the same boat and trade mine in.
