I've got about 1100 hours on my 3116's.........

The record around here is a friend who runs 3208TA's in a charter boat. He has over 18,000 hours on the pair and has only done routine maintenance on them, save a couple of starters, an alternator, 4 or 5 injectors and one fuel pump. She still runs strong and fishes every day. If only the hull looked as good as the Caterpillars run!

No rebuild but probably a few Head Gaskets and other normal repairs along the way. Lots of really cold starts, (other than on board engine heaters), and some hard running and they kept coming back for more. Al W.
