So, lets talk weather....

Year round, I’m not sure about.
Great Lakes area is perfect in summer and fall. We live in a great country, we have options, and I’m blessed in being able to use them.
After living most of my adult life down there, I felt like I became a Florida native. I saw a lot of northerners wimp out and wilt in the summer heat. I laugh at the locals up in Michigan making a big deal about 90°. My last 15 years we averaged 110 days a year at 90°+. In Bradenton we seemed to top out at 89° with the help of the afternoon seabreeze.

I have been to Florida many times in the summer…. I always thought remote start was stupid there until I started using it to cool the truck …. Then the run from the front door to the truck wasn’t so bad :)

Same thing in Mississippi. I spent a year in Biloxi when I was in the USAF. 100* plus 100% humidity. You always hoped it would rain so you could stop sweating.

31 degrees in Spring Lake today with fresh snow on the ground. The nice fire is feeling great.

lol. That’s us. It was near record heat when we left Ft Myers area 2 weeks ago, too hot. Haha. We moved north to Ocala area and now Savanna, perfect.
Next year it’s going to be Ft Myers in January and then tip toe north.

Only getting snow on the mountains here now. Haven't seen any frost in a couple weeks. The buds are popping up and believe the groundhog was wrong. Just got back from a 4 day cruise and other than some occasional showers was a fine spring outing. Grabbed some cool critters for the bellies while out there as well.

Sleet hitting the windows woke me up at 2am. Trees, mailboxes, cars and grass all covered with ice when I was out walking the dog at 6:30. Sidewalks were warm enough to just stay wet. Now a whopping 34°. The weather guessers are saying 60° by days end.

Yesterday morning I walked the dog with a light weight jacket on. Early afternoon, walked him with a midweight parka, and evening walk I was wearing full on winter gear. Crap.... 34° actual temp right now. Just awesome.... Grrrrrr

Snow and sleet yesterday, 51 today. 61 tomorrow and supposed to be 70 on Sunday. But it isn't supposed to break 71 at least until April 15th. We are usually good for days in the 80s in early April. Grrrrr. Global warming my ass. Oh, sorry, climate change.

Hey....not too long from now and you can cook breakfast on your driveway

I am definitely not looking forward to summer here. They say I will get used to it, but 3 years later and I still can’t take the friggin humidity. It saps the energy out of me. Even in the evening its too humid to sit on the boat. But, being in the Bahamas, this summer, won’t suck! :).

Just got back from the marina. Some activity around. Got this year's stickers for the trucks and golf cart. Nothing floating in the marina but there was an idiot out in Anchor Bay on a pontoon boat.

Shoot, I was the guy outside mowing in the middle of the day. Trying to make sure I was done before the thunderstorms rolled through. Mid summer I was mowing 2 or 3 times a week. Yeah, you sweat...so what...no big deal.
