So how many "things for/about the boat" gifts do you get at Christmas?

This is not meant to be sarcastic or me not being grateful..I was just thinking about this after we were just informed we would be getting a "gift for the boat' this year from a family member.

One year we got really cool winter coats with our boat name on them for a gift. One year it was hats and shirts with our boat name on them. One year it was towels. One year it was a cool knick knack with our boat name on it. One time we received a cool wooden tray that at the time we thought was odd but it's now the source of junk/odd things and it sits on our salon table.

So, what kind of these 'boat gifts' have you received? Stuff from your significant other does not count, that's to be expected.

Nothing last year, our first with the boat. I dont think anyone knew what to get for us, plus we have a smaller boat...not much to get for us really.

I know my wife is getting me some stuff, and I am getting stuff fro her, but they are more related to wakeboarding than the boat itself.

The Garmin unit (ill be buying from BOE in the spring Jim) I will wait to buy for myself once we get past the holiday seasons and it doesnt look bad I am buying myself something for xmas.

Well that just left me out right there.:smt089

That is probably best anyway as I am very particular about what goes on my boat anyway. Just ask my wife she’ll tell yea!

(Yea it is my cooler too for all you cooler jokers out there….)

Jim, does BOE Marine offer gift cards? What a great way for a particular boater to get exactly what they want.

We just got this from the Mrs's folks:

Standard HX850s Handheld VHF w/ GPS - HX850S

We are lucky, they are boaters too!

Well Bah Humbug. I am replacing my RayNav 300 with a Raymaine 50D and replacing the current GPS with a GPS 125, but it is not really Christmas related.

I tend to think of Christmas being all year long.

Same as when the really big screen TV's came out as well as the high definition option, cost me around about $4,000.00 then, but hey I said, I'll just borrow the money against my insurance policy (Low fixed rate) and watch TV while I am still around. Instead of someone else getting the money and buying a large screen high definition system to watch after I am gone.
