Got up this morining to go for the newspaper and the driveway was once again cover with snow. I can't take it any more---I need spring.:smt021

I feel your pain. We're melted down to about half of what we got. Mid 40s though this week should knock it out pretty good hopefully.

Yep this global warming thing is really starting to get old. They say we might have snow down here in GA again this week.

We got about 8" friday night. gone saturday night. Nice... the temps we have now during the days are clearing the 1" or more we get each night!

Even though it's snowing again today, temps are supposed to be in the 40's and 50's. Spring is on it's way!

We have been battered too but with rain not snow. Last Thursday was beautiful, Friday stormed like crazy, Sunday beautiful yesterday and today driving rainstorms. More rain to follow this week. At least I'll be able to get some maintenance done under the covered berth! I have no idea how you guys keep your sanity with your boats covered up for 6 months aa year...

Mr Salt is complaining about snow.....irony?

I am out of the business now, used to love it. However east coast highway salt comes from Ireland, Chile or Bonaire and didn't help us. The East Coast wasn't our market but it was good when it snowed in the mid west

SNOW???? 54" in one week in a place that I moved to because it doesn't snow????

It was a sad wake and funeral at Bohemia Bay Yacht Harbor, MD where we keep our baby. Roughly 38 boats (40' to 50')buried under a collapsed roof. We lucked out by getting out in time on the next dock. Others weren't so lucky. Very sad. It will be a long clean up and a very different boating season.

Gives you a sense of how people feel with other (larger)natural disasters and somehow put's it into perspective.

I HATE SNOW!!!!!!!! A little, a lot, don't even like seeing it on TV or in the news!!!!!!!!!!

One thing about living in the midwest we know that you put your boat on the hard between mid October to April and some times we get snowed on in April maybe even May. This picture was taken around the first of May about 15 yrs ago as you can tell I am the only one out there.

In Michigan we have two seasons.....winter and the 4th of July. I've had to wear a down filled vest before on the 4th. My signature pic is from mid April.

Time to move!

No Doubt! I still can't understand the reason so many people live through those winters except of course those that love the snow :smt101.

In April I can cruise the delta in shorts and flip flops on a nice 75 degree day, waterski then get up the next morning and head 3 hours by car to snow ski at one of 20 resorts. Snow is for GOING TO not living with IMHO.
