Snap in Carpet Question

I have a 2007 230 select with the snap in carpet. My wife and I generally keep the carpet out of the boat due to cleaning. My question is has anyone found something to snap into the snaps in the floor to prevent foot injuries if you step on the snap?

You can order just the snap covers by themselves pop 'em on and off

Not to be a smart ass but how about a snap? - just pop them together with no material between them and you have instant snap covers - or someone on e-bay sells plastic snap covers
