Snakes taking over

I HATE SNAKES!!! I HATE SNAKES!!! I HATE SNAKES!!! I HATE SNAKES!!! I HATE SNAKES!!! I HATE SNAKES!!! I HATE SNAKES!!! I HATE SNAKES!!! I HATE SNAKES!!! I HATE SNAKES!!! I HATE SNAKES!!! I HATE SNAKES!!!

I'm sorry, but protected or not, if I found a snake on my boat it would soon be a dead snake.

IMO the only good snake is the one you see on a warm roadway and it's about 1/8" thick and 6" wide because it's been run over so many times.

No way in the world could I deal with that. I'd sell the farm, move to the salt water and deal with the corrosion issues!

BAMM, BAMM, BAMM, BAMM, BAMM, BAMM...click-click... BAMM, BAMM, BAMM, BAMM, BAMM, BAMM. I'm from the South

Would rather be swimming with sharks in the big pond than to deal with these.

I hope you didn't just shoot a brand new boat you are delivering full of holes...

This would end my boating career dead in its tracks...throw them the keys and say " have at it the boat is yours". No one in my family would ever set foot on the boat again. I thought we had the market cornered on reptiles and such. I would rather find an alligator on the boat that this pack of reptiles. We really don't see snakes and such that often and they damn sure are not on any kind of endangered species list. (not that I would check)

The snakes are not any better this year. I had five inside my boat last weekend. Had to put on new underwear.

When you say inside my boat, do you mean in the cockpit, in the cabin?? I have only seen them on swim platforms.

And yes, I guess I'm packin extra underwear.

What the hell kind of snake is that and WTF is a goby?

Down here we have had great success with moth balls. We use the at home in the flower/plant beds to keep chipmunks away. At the slip we spread them under the floating docks for the snakes. Havent seen one in two years. First year without the moth balls we saw a dozen.

As a side note, I don't care what list they are on, "I aint puttin up with it!" Period.

Mike your inbox is full.

They just a nuisance or do they bite / poisonous or aggressive to humans?

Coming from one of the few countries in the world that doesn't have snakes, I cannot see why you would want to put them on a wildlife protection programme. Still, if we said that about everything we didn't like, man would make all manner of species extinct and that would be a travesty. Still, snakes on boats'? They make films (bad ones) about this kind of stuff don't they? The closest thing we get to a water snake is this charming fellow:

Long Fin NZ Eel

I would never be able to get the wife and kids back on the boat.

'That video made me sick. There isn't enough money in this country to get me to do a job like that. The first time I got bit the knife would come out and we'd be dissecting that damm thing right there on the shore.
