After a long winter's sleep, with the batteries removed, my Smartcraft fuel gauges now read empty, on both tanks.
The only fuel gauges are on the display itself.
Is there a reset after battery removal?

If I am understanding you correctly, there are options to reset your tank levels to one quarter, half, or three quarters full. Page 2-20 of the Smartcraft manual explains the procedure.

Yikes.... well if thats the only gauge u got .... then u have to fill the boat and set the smart craft to full. But on my boat i had to tell it # of gallons ... they all have to be the same programing ...

LEt me know if i need to get the book fro mthe boat.

Dave and Rob,
Thanks for getting back to me.
The gauges were "calibrated" already, and I'd left about a quarter tank in each side in the fall, but when servicing and starting her a couple of days ago, the gauges read empty.
It may just be the way the boat is sitting on stands, which is probably more level than when she's in the water.
I'll monitor it further.

Thanks Rob,
I'll let you know, but right now it's on the back burner...
