Smartcraft Transducer

Glad you got it fixed. Did you do the installation with the boat in the water? If so what kind of water flow did you get?
Not too bad, as the main electrical panel is only about a foot above the ducer I took the precaution of wrapping a garbage bag around it. Pulled the old unit out with my left hand had the new one in my right, once it goes into the opening the O-ring stops the water flow so, I'm thinking a quart of water came in.

I traced the wire to the harness of the starboard engine. Where can I purchase one? the Airmar site doesnt list the part number.

That's interesting. I just had a new transmission installed on that side...that's when the problem began-coincidence, I think not. Can you give me an idea of where this is physically plugged in? Thanks...maybe I'll have a cheap week of boating after all.

We have different engines so I'm thinking it won't be the same, on the 8.1 it was on top of the engine on the starboard side, plugged into the Smartcraft harness

Sorry to dig up an old thread but my transducer seems to have bit the dust. I did replace the inline fuse but still not working. Marine Max does have a plug and play replacement and gave me a price of $330.00. Marine Max also gave me their part number = MM 3030419. After extensive searches using MM part number I could not find the manufactures part number. That said, it seems the manufacturer (Airmar) number is 888828A13. Is this still accurate? Does anyone know of a Marine Max part number vs manufacturer part number cross reference guide?

Thanks for your time.
