Just found and joined the site. Forgive me if this should be under the Sundeck 200 thread:huh:.
Saturday while cruising, we got an alarm of an oil pressure problem with an associated horn and then the Smartcraft went to "Gaurdian" mode. I was able to get back to the marina by reseting the plugs on the back of the oil pressure gauge.
1. Anybody had this problem? Oil qty is fine, no leaks. Oil pressure gauge is erratic. Indicates top of scale high, then 0 psi and alternately, normal. The gauge appears to be the controlling item in the series from sender to gauge to Smartcraft(tach)??? It doesn't appear to read actual pressure from the sender, only what the gauge says. Since I was able to reset, is this a gauge or cannon plug issue?
2. Can I disable the "Gaudian" mode? Would be helpful to override the computer to get home.
