Smartcraft Error Codes

I recently purchased a 2012 280 dancer with a 8.1 Mercruiser engine with only 28 hours. It now has 53 hours and a code just popped up. It say Service OD soon, O2 sensor problem. Can I continue to run the boat until I can get it looked at next week. What exactly is this error.

I looked up the error code in both the Smartcraft manuals and Service Manual 33 (PCM 555) and could not find any reference to these messages. I think its time to call a Merc tech and ask them the question.

Maybe it's part of break in messages, with only 50 hours on the ECU ? Perhaps your out drive service is due... hmmmm
