Smart Craft Depth Finder

No longer getting a depth reading or accurate Sea Water temp from the Mercury Smart craft. Looking at the Sea Ray parts list for 2007 Dancer, it shows that the through hull transducer provides both depth and water temp. It is listed as an Accessory, Mercury Smart Craft. Sea Ray does not maintain a part number for the item. Looking through a 2011 Mercury part list, the combined depth/water temp is not included in any of the Mercury transducers.

Has anyone encountered similar issues? Any ideas on how to resolve?

This problem is VERY common among these transducers. Normally the Sea Temp goes out first then depth later on. It is a Mercury part you need, not Sea Ray.

could be 2 problems which i recently encountered. If the readings no longer show up on the SC you have to re-calibrate the SC. If the reading shows up on the SC and is inaccurate, then it is transducer. Transducer could be gummed up.
