:huh:I just happened to notice when installing a new battery that there is a small spark that happens when I just touch the negative cable to the battery post. It is almost like something is on, such as the radio, or the running lights. Everything is off. Is this normal? I am concerned that this might be pulling down the battery when not running.

Yes, that means something is drawing power. Could be as small as the memory to the radio.

Checked all accessories, nothing is on. The spark at the neg. post on the battery is very weak, but I just think that there shoudn't be any spark at all.

Normal. As mentioned, radio memory is always on - auto bilge pump is another possibility - your engine doesn't have an ECM. It will take many weeks for these things to affect your battery.

if it will make you feel better put your volt meter on the neg post and the cable end with the cable
disconnected and check the draw..should be in milliamps if all is well
